Refund & Cancelation policy
At New Friends Tour and Travels, we strive to provide the best travel experience for our customers. We understand that plans can change, and sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise. To ensure transparency and trust, our Refund and Cancellation Policy is designed to accommodate your needs while maintaining fairness for all parties involved. Please read the policy carefully before making any bookings.
1. Cancellation by the Customer
If you wish to cancel your booking, the following terms will apply based on the timing of your request:
- More than 30 days prior to departure: 80% of the total booking amount will be refunded, minus any processing fees.
- 15 to 30 days prior to departure: 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
- 7 to 14 days prior to departure: 25% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
- Less than 7 days prior to departure: No refund will be provided.
Note: Cancellations must be communicated in writing to our customer support team via email at support@newfriendstours.com. The date on which the cancellation request is received will determine the applicable refund.
2. Cancellation by New Friends Tour and Travels
In rare cases, we may need to cancel a tour due to reasons such as safety concerns, low group participation, or unforeseen events like natural disasters or political instability. If such a situation arises, we will offer the following options:
- A full refund of the amount paid.
- The option to reschedule your trip or select an alternative tour of the same value.
We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the customer such as flight cancellations or hotel bookings outside the tour package.
3. Refund Process
- Once a cancellation request has been approved, refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days from the date of approval.
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
- In case of payment made through third-party platforms (e.g., travel agents, online booking websites), the refund will be processed according to their respective policies and timelines.
4. No Show Policy
If you fail to show up at the designated tour start time or meeting point without prior notice, your booking will be considered a "No Show," and no refund will be provided.
5. Changes in Itinerary
If you need to make changes to your booking, such as changing travel dates or modifying the tour package, please inform us at least 15 days before departure. While we will do our best to accommodate changes, any additional costs incurred due to hotel bookings, transportation, or other services will be the responsibility of the customer.
6. Non-Refundable Services
Certain services included in your tour package, such as flight tickets, visa fees, or entrance fees, may be non-refundable depending on the terms and conditions of the third-party providers. We recommend checking with our team for details specific to your booking.
7. Force Majeure
New Friends Tour and Travels will not be liable for any cancellations or changes to your tour caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will work with you to offer an alternative tour or provide a refund minus any non-refundable costs.
